Rhodes Scholarship

Application deadline is October 15, 2010

This scholarship is a postgraduate award "supporting exceptional students at the University of Oxford in England." It is one of the most prestigious scholarship programs in the world.

Each year, 11 Canadians are selected each year to join a class of 84 scholars from around the globe, including countries such as the United States, New Zealand, Zimbabwe, Germany, and many others.

While intellectual excellence is required to become a Rhodes Scholar, there are several other criteria that are considered.
