Incest

A continual pain
Tugs at the soul
Begging to be recognized
Begging to be healed.

Divorce

I watch their innocent eyes
Filled with confusion.
How could I break their hearts
And mend them again?
Should I give them hope
Or give them truth?
Should I tell them he loved them
But couldn’t cope?
Should I tell them the truth
And hurt them again?
Would they accept truth
Or endless hope?

Lost Love

As I looked into his eyes
I could feel the tears
Of long good-byes
And forgotten years.

Knowing I could never capture
With all my tears
That endless rapture
Those forgotten years.
