Notes: For students entering or in second or third year. Field of Study: Biochemistry, Biological & Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Health Sciences, Inorganic Chemistry, Medical & Health Sciences, Neurosciences, and Organic Chemistry – Academic Standing: 75. The NASA Spaceflight and Life Sciences Training Program (SLSTP) is an intensive six-week training program at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida for about 25 university students interested in life sciences, bioengineering or related fields. In the program, students will take part in the preparation, pre- and post-flight testing, data analysis and reporting phases of simulated space flight experiments and NASA life sciences research. The Canadian Space Agency is sponsoring one or two Canadian students who have demonstrated scholastic excellence and an interest in space life sciences to participate in this unique learning experience.
DR. MAXWELL M. YAN EDUCATIONAL BURSARY IN CONDUCTIVE EDUCATION
Notes: Canadian students pursuing career in conductive education. Enrolled at any university providing accredited conductor programs. Current programs offered in England, Israel and Hungary. Recipients required to work as conductor in Ontario March of Dimes’ Conductive Education program for two years.
