Notes: For students entering or in second or third year. Field of Study: Biochemistry, Biological & Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Health Sciences, Inorganic Chemistry, Medical & Health Sciences, Neurosciences, and Organic Chemistry – Academic Standing: 75. The NASA Spaceflight and Life Sciences Training Program (SLSTP) is an intensive six-week training program at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida for about 25 university students interested in life sciences, bioengineering or related fields. In the program, students will take part in the preparation, pre- and post-flight testing, data analysis and reporting phases of simulated space flight experiments and NASA life sciences research. The Canadian Space Agency is sponsoring one or two Canadian students who have demonstrated scholastic excellence and an interest in space life sciences to participate in this unique learning experience.
