Eligibility restriction: Applicants must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants, must be enrolled as a full-time student in a course of study with some relevance to the non-military use of explosives or blasting (e.g. mining, civil, or chemical engineering; geology; seismic exploration; avalanche control; blasting physics.) What’s required: A completed online application form, including a résumé, proof of enrollment, and a submission (essay, PowerPoint, mixed media, or video, etc) entitled “The safe use of controlled blasting in modern day construction and mining.”
