Eligibility restriction: Applicants must be Canadian citizens, must be of Indigenous kinship as defined by the applicant’s Indigenous nation (includes First Nation, Métis, and Inuit), and be admitted to AU in an undergrad degree, diploma, or certificate program. See full eligibility requirements.
What’s required: A completed application form including contact and academic info, proof of Indigenous kinship (see section D of application form for details), along with a 500-word essay outlining: how this award will help you obtain your AU undergrad credential; your academic goals; your contributions to your community; and how an AU credential might support your future plans.
