National Coffee Break Day is marked every January 20.  There is no shortage of coffee references in past Voice articles, and we selected two with little in common except coffee.

Hungry in the dark.  When the power went out in Ontario and several U.S. states in August 2003, Teresa Neuman found herself suspended between moving out of temporary digs at Carleton University and moving into her permanent home in Ottawa.  “Needing to find some dinner, I ventured out into the streets.
