June 21 is National Smoothie Day.  Several of our health-minded writers explored this nutritious meal-in-a-glass.  (Which can be made without water, by the way.)

Convenient ways to avoid the price of convenience foods.  Carla Knipe polls members of a few online chat groups to find some ideas for eating healthy while the cost of food rises.  “Meals such as chilis, soups, and stews are also mainstays for AU’s student moms and can be easily turned into vegetarian meals.
