Student Sizzle—Following What’s Hot!

AU Social Media

Facebook:

What is the Write Site like? A student wonders if the Write Site offers feedback before completing an essay and what the best time to access it would be.  They were informed that the Write Site was full and was advised to try again later.  With another student suggesting checking back every two days, although they felt following the Write Site’s advice resulted in a lower grade for a paper.  Another student mentioned that the Write Site provides guidance on grammar errors, thesis, and paragraph clarity, and it can also offer feedback on specific areas of weakness for the student.

Reddit:

AU Reddit Student Peer Support Site.  A student who views AU courses as “no joke” initiated creating a subreddit for students to receive peer support and feel connected.  To join the Reddit forum, visit https://www.reddit.com/r/AthabascaUniversity/comments/1f4e71y/support_for_au_students/.
