Eligibility restriction: Applicants must be aged 15 to 25 as of contest deadline, and must be permanent residents or citizens of Canada (or have proof of immigration status in Canada.)
What’s required: An online application form, along with a short (450 characters max) bio, and a 1200-1500 word essay on one of two given topics: “Government Regulation of Artificial Intelligence (AI)” or “Government Regulation of Hate Speech”.
