Many of us know nurses who are part of a class of superheroes in society, combining emotional labour with scientific expertise, whereby our loved ones and our fellow citizens find the best possible health outcomes within this mortal coil.
This posting covers “nursing care and health equity” – the nuts and bolts of the nursing profession in terms of education and daily practice. As with most Research Assistant postings, literature reviews are central and will “include appraisal of qualitative and quantitative research, data collection and analysis, and manuscript and presentation development”. Unique in this posting, however, is an offer of entry-level training on relevant digital academic research platforms: “f required, the RA will be provided training to work with various tools and software such as NVivo, Covidence, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft PowerPoint.” The job itself is two or three hours a week and, besides experience in the industry being preferred, requires prior completion of an undergraduate degree.
