Jessica Wilson

Jessica resides in Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, Ontario. She is currently studying full-time as an English Major at Athabasca University and hopes to pursue a career as a Legal Journalist.

Jessica is the Lead Journalist for the music review section of The Voice. One of Jessica’s passions is to attend concerts in Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto. She has been able to experience some of her favorite bands like Set it Off, Yungblud, Palaye Royale, King Diamond, Katy Perry, My Chemical Romance, and Rob Zombie to name a few. Jessica has an appreciation for the musical arts as she has enjoyed learning to play various musical instruments through the years.

Having been a lead actor in numerous theatrical plays, Jessica admires the performing arts and loves attending Broadway Across Canada productions. These Broadway performances, along with movies, TV shows, and books she has enjoyed are all part of Jessica’s general entertainment reviews for The Voice.

In her spare time, she has been known to spend a Saturday afternoon doing pottery, painting, or crocheting; some of her numerous hobbies. An old soul, she adores collecting antique books and restoring antique items such as her 1916 typewriter and 1910 writing desk which she uses for her studies. Jessica is writing a fantasy-romance novel in her free time that she hopes will one day be a number one bestseller.
