Kaitie O'Shaughnessy

My name is Kaitlyn, but everyone calls me Kaitie. I was born and raised in Muskoka, Ontario: a place that is full of amazing natural scenery, cool outdoor activities, and cute small town vibes. As soon as I could, I left my little town for Ottawa and started my freshman year at Ottawa University. I didn’t finish that year, as I decided I really didn’t know what I wanted to do, so I dropped out and spent the last six years becoming a chef! I lived in several other cities and towns across Canada like Toronto, Calgary, and Lake Louise. I have several other interests such as creating different types of visual art (painting, drawing, photography, silk screening, embroidery… the list goes on), philosophy, writing, and snowboarding. Once I had enough of the chef life, and now that I have a dog to support (and more on the way!), I decided to go back to university and started at AU for English and Philosophy. In summary, and as an avid fan of classic rock, you’ll typically find me by the lake with good tunes, good food, and good conversation.
