Position description: General Motors offer internships and co-ops in the areas of business and engineering in the US.
Pay: Paid. Competitive compensation. May be eligible for paid housing and reimbursement of travel expenses.
Eligibility requirements: Must be a full time student registered at an accredited university who is pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree. You must also have completed your first year and be able to present evidence of academic achievement and leadership ability. You must also wish to pursue a career in Engineering or Business. For the Co-op your university must have a sanctioned co-op program.
Time and length of position: Internships range from 10-12 weeks.

Pay: Yes. EUR 550 gross per month.
Eligibility requirements: Must be enrolled in a college or university program for the entire duration of the training period, have knowledge of MS Office, speak German and English, and be able to travel. They are also searching for some specific personality traits which are listed on their website.
Time and length: Positions range from 3-6 months and may start at any time.

National Organization for Women (NOW) Internships

Position description: Internships are available in Washington, D.C. on one of the following teams: Government Relations/Public Policy team, Field Organizing team, Membership team, Direct Mail and Fundraising team, Communications team, Web team, and the Political Action Committee. Pay: Unpaid. College credit can be arranged.
Eligibility requirements: Interns should be dedicated to women’s issues and feminist organizing.
Time and length: Internships are offered in the spring, summer and fall. Full and part time positions are available. A minimum of three days a week is required.
How to apply: Deadlines for applying are: November 20- spring, March 15- summer, and July 30- fall. Your application must include a cover letter stating why you want the internship and why you think you will perform well in a fast paced feminist environment, a current resume, an application form (available on website), and two letters of recommendation.
