NORTHERN STUDENT SUPPLEMENT
Value: $500 – $1500

Administrator: Northern Alberta Development Council

Notes: An incentive for northern Alberta students with a high financial need to enter post-secondary programs. It supplements the Alberta Opportunities Bursary. $500 to $1500 depending on financial need. If you receive the Northern Student Supplement, your student loan will be reduced by an equivalent amount.

You may receive the Northern Student Supplement if you:
– are a northern Alberta resident;
– have high financial need;
– are in your first or second year of post-secondary training.

PROVINCE OF ALBERTA GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS AND FELLOWSHIPS
Value: Masters Level – up to $9,300 and Doctoral Level – up to $10,500
Application Deadline: None

Administrator: Alberta Scholarship Programs.

Notes: To reward the high level of achievement of students pursuing graduate studies in Alberta. Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Landed Immigrants and enrolled full-time in a faculty of graduate studies in Alberta.

Applicants are selected by their Alberta institution.

EACH YEAR SOFTBALL ALBERTA AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO QUALIFYING STUDENT-ATHLETES TO ASSIST THEM WITH THEIR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION.
