If the phrase “the formulation and simulation of adaptive learning environments” piques your inner tech jouissance then this is the job for you.  Keen to assess and understand AI within pedagogical confines, Dr. Oscar Lin seeks an accomplice in the furtherance of knowledge and application of AI technologies.

Under the auspices of any help being useful within the noble task of higher education, this posting focuses on key aspects of AI’s implementation within school settings.  For those with tech expertise, the issues of AI within universities are implied within research to be conducted in this program.  The successful applicant will “contribute to this research by developing mathematical models and computer algorithms for representing and predicting student knowledge proficiency and making decisions/recommendations about instructor pedagogical strategies and in this system with the goal to provide personalized learning paths, learning activities, exercises, assessments, and feedback.”

Tasks will summarily include conducting “novel research”, participating in group meetings, and writing article summaries of ongoing research.  A degree in computer science or other technical discipline is a prerequisite.
