Marie Well

I’m Marie Well, as in healthy well. At least, that’s my aim—to get well and make you well. We all have woes, from breakups to cancer to hoarder houses. I’m here to fix those woes—with tips mixed with my own tales.

Why read me? I’ve got a track record of fixin’ stuff. I’ve cured myself of anxiety. For a decade, I had anxiety attacks that struck almost daily. When not stricken, I’d write Voice articles, mostly on how to combat stress.

And then my world changed. One week went by with no attacks. A month. A year. Two years. And counting.

Now, I want to skyrocket our health—and bolster our creativity. After all, nothing soothes better than strokes of paint or tones of music or reps in a gym.

So, let’s get fit, creative, and well with Marie Well.

Master a Skill with AI

If we want to write books or create courses, we have some great AI resources.  AI is cheap, at roughly $10 per AI platform.  I tried the free version of the Tome.app, which can instantly generate book outlines or pdf presentations on any topic.  All we need to do is indicate our subject, “Study advice”… Read more »

How Single Moms and Dads Can Exercise with Their Kids

I did some banking last week and encouraged my banker to exercise.  She said she used to exercise but stopped because she lacked energy.  I told her how when I stopped exercising, my power waned but skyrocketed only once I restarted my fitness program.  She sounded inspired and then said, “But I have no time. … Read more »

Seven Ways to Make Fitness Fun

Fitness is a blast.  It’s more fun than traveling to Hawaii.  That is unless your hotel is by the 24-hour gym in Honolulu.  Now, that’s exciting!  And fitness is more fun than dining out, cruises or discovering a lost continent.  That is unless these activities are accompanied by fitness, such as hikes through ruins, dancing… Read more »

Altruism

I searched on the internet, “What is it called when a person prioritizes others over oneself?” Depending on where you sit between selflessness and self-focused, you might have your own definitions.  Interestingly, what came up was the word “altruism.” I once saw a near-death experience account of a woman who prioritized others over herself.  She… Read more »

Places to Go

The places we go have huge implications for our wellbeing.  Some places are likely to cause conflict; others, harmony.  And one step into the wrong place can lead to fifty more into despair.  Similarly, one step in the right place, can lead to fifty more into happiness.  We make the choice. So, with that said,… Read more »

Combatting Chronic Fatigue

I could not work for many years due to chronic fatigue syndrome and severe anxiety.  But I have since overcome these conditions and am back in the workforce.  The workforce offers enormous opportunities for growth and self-development that government assistance could never provide. We all have something to contend with, whether disability, poverty, or some… Read more »

How to Fit All Our Dreams in One Day

Sir Thomas Carlyle said, “A loving heart is the beginning of all knowledge.” Similarly, a loving heart is the beginning of all dreams.  And we’ve got one day, each day, to come closer to realizing all our goals and dreams.  So, how do we fit our hopes and aspirations into each passing day? First, let… Read more »

Hidden Secrets and Gems to Finding Hyper-Efficiency

I have Gopi Krishna syndrome.  It’s a great thing to have.  Gopi Krishna was a Hindu who had a life-transformative experience: he underwent enlightenment through a physical bolt of energy that erupted throughout his spine during a Kundalini moment in meditation.  As a result of the unwieldy power, he started going crazy and sought others… Read more »

A Knack for Making Money

For a while, I didn’t work.  First, I was knocked out of the ring due to ten years of severe anxiety and chronic disease.  During that time, I’d search for ways to make extra money.  And indeed, nothing I searched seemed to result in anything that would make much money. Since healing myself of anxiety… Read more »

How to Pursue Knowledge

Pursuing knowledge is the greatest aspiration, next to giving unconditional love.  When people temporarily die and enter what they call “heaven,” they often report that curious angels ask them, “What have you learned?” And these temporarily “deceased” people are often invited to ask any question they desire.  Sometimes people are at a loss for a… Read more »
